If anything goes wrong? If the ARx doesn't work? When has something gone wrong when using ARx? When has ARx ever not worked? For peace of mind that the engine is clean I say run the ARx. The bottom line is that it is safe and it works.

My dad has a Craftsman air compressor that is still going strong after 22 years. The oil has never been changed that I know of. Craftsman can make some great products.

Ok, he has already completed the rinse phase (3000 miles). Why does he need to dump his current oil and rinse again? Did the first rinse not do its job? Are there supposed to be 2 rinse phases?

Thats what its sounds like to me. So if we use LC we will need to use Auto-Rx to clean it out since LC is a solvent? I'm getting confused here.

Frank, did you not read the original post? He went 3000 for the rinse using havoline dino. Why should he rinse again?
