mixing blue and yellow windshield squirter juice

Anytime I had someone come in with engine coolant in their washer fluid the windshield was coated with sticky antifreeze and it was hard to see through. How did you get this to work for you?

If your car uses a quart every 1k miles...

I suppose like anything this is up for debate. I would probably just change the filter at the recommended or my usual interval, and change everything, but not nearly as often as I would on a car with regular oil usage.

    Window Cleaning

Windex Multi Task (contains Vinegar) and regular househole paper towels works great for me.

    RTV seals?

I have used RTV gasket maker on numerous differentials with Amsoil and never had a leak. I do seem to remember someone on here saying that GM did not recomend using their own OEM syn gear oil with RTV because of possible leaks.

can't find a good synthetic sae 30 for my mower.

The Amsoil SAE30/10W30 only comes in Gallon jugs and larger. If I was looking for a small amount of oil I would just go with the 10W30 synthetic in a 1 qt bottle.

    Harley Syn3 or Amsoil

I doubt you will see Royal Purple/Amsoi/Redline type companies blending for HD. I bet the smaller oil blenders couldn't touch the pricing HD is paying for the oil from CITGO or any other larger oil Co. they decided to deal with in the future. If the oil sells for around $8.25US it probably costs...

Got a new Dyna Lowrider oil question?

Exactly what blueglide88 said, HD does not have to do the work, you can do it or have your favorite shop do it for you. As long as it is done correctly you will maintain your warranty.

    Harley Syn3 or Amsoil

Yeah for those that don't feel alright with 20W50 in the trans there are plenty of good synthetic gear oils out there like Amsoil and Redline. As far as the primary chain, it's lube needs are pretty basic and clutch slippage is more of a concern for oil selection. The 20W50 synthetic you run in...

    Harley Syn3 or Amsoil

Amsoil here in my 88B. Been using it since the first year and I have been very happy with it. No oil consumption at all. 10W40 or 20W50 Amsoil in the primary and 75W90 or 20W50 in the trans.

    Oil Change Procedure Question

The 4 quart then add one method is how I usually change my oil, and all the shops I know do this to avoid overfills. Being shy a quart for a minute isnt't gonna hurt anything at all. And usually when the filter goes on the bottom of the motor it will be prefilled by some techs, especially one...
