hbp: Actually it is F.I. so yes throttle body has to be removed. Everything is so tight. Did you noticed I had to slip the fan aside?

The bike has 50,000km and never did a valve clearance check since 13,000km when I bought it. Well, all needed adjustment. They all read 0,10mm. OEM specs IN 0,15mm EX 0,20mm

Quote JASO T903 Implementation Manual Quote: In recent years, engine oils for 4-wheel vehicles have tended toward lower viscosity and lower friction to achieve better fuel economy. There are concerns that such low friction and low viscosity oils, when used in motorcycles, may cause clutch...

Previous samples were both 10w30 mc oil. Titanium is from the previous fill (not sent for analysis) since the bottle said "with titanium technology" I'll stick with this oil. Shifting was really smooth the entire interval. I was kind of disappointed how it sheared a lot though. I ride it 95%...

    10w30 vs 15w40 first impressions

Already did that Bror Jace. Good stuff for no more than 2500mi when shifting becomes notchy. Shifting quality seems to be related with viscosity so I expect to run a longer OCI with 40wt. Yep you're right. For example this autopart where I buy oils there is few 10w30 on the shelf. It would be...

    10w30 vs 15w40 first impressions

bike in my sig recommended oil 10w30 sj jaso-ma no matter what temps. Guess who sells it. Decide to try a cheap conventional HDEO 15w40 CI-4/SL. 3 liters jug for R$ 39 (stands for +- 13USD). At first i was afraid but hey it is just oil heh. Clutch is fun now i mean it doesnt grab that much like...

    Short trips Toyota Corolla OCI

4x 5mile trips/day. I live close to the highway and my work is close to the highway so theres 4 stops/trip, no light. I drive easy. I was wondering what would be more suitable for me. Use a cheap conventional 10w30 and change twice/year (~3000mi) or stick with the expensive Shell Helix 5w30...
