    I've had my truck since dec and just hit 3k on the oil. Not sure what brand the dealership installed but I'm sure its el cheapo. I have a trip coming up (800mi) so should I change my oil before or later when I get close to 5k. My OLM is at 33%

    I planned on changing it at 5k because its an ecoboost. I've read a lot about the fuel in oil issues and dont want to take any chances. I monitor the oil closely.

    I found some PP at napa for 25ish for 6 qts. I looked at my odometer and I'm almost to 3k since the dealership changed the oil. Oil life gauge read 33%. If I happen to do a motocraft oil change in the mix, will that be ok?

    I cant find 5w30 motocraft in 5qt jugs locally. I can find plenty of single quarts but they are spendy. I can find Penzoil platinium in 5qt jugs for $25 at walmart. They also have it in quarts so I can get a single to make it 6qts total. Should I go with that? Or should I drive 30 mins to the...
