Just got a new one (next day from Amazon at no charge). Louvers punched perfectly. I'm assuming this a an industry wide issue and not just RP. Check your filters gents.

I run 5w30 QSUD in my 15 Ram Hemi. Used to have the occasional start up tick. That seemed to go away after 10k on good synthetic oil. No MDS issues here

With all the very good synthetics on the shelf, Amsoil is not an upgrade worth the cost.

Wix XP tends to get a lot of hate here due to its low filtration efficiency. 50% @ 20 microns.

Amsoil is made there as well. Not sure if they still use the Donaldson media

Pricey for a 50% @ 20 micron filter.

My Hemi was always noisy on PUP. Never had a UOA performed so I can comment on its performance but the valve train was a touch loud for my liking.

From everything I've heard and read, there's no added benefit to RP over any of the off the shelf synthetics. They do make great filters produced by Champion.

Strong bump. Amsoil has taken their marketing and has become the corporate shill they once despised. Too bad as once upon a time, people rallied around Amsoil as the greatest oil on the market, despite the corporate giants trying to hold them down. Too bad.
