I have a Toto & an American Standard Champion 4. The Toto frequently requires a plunger & after around 2-3 years requires holding flush lever down till bowl empties, otherwise it leaks continuously from tank. The American Standard Champion 4 very rarely needs a plunger, otherwise no problems.

And, I reckon part of the reason for the results I have experienced with SteelShield products has to due with "Faraday reaction of like charges".

Years ago, I used some of the formulator's previous version of the product (MT-10) in a car engine & saw a noticeable decrease in operating temperature. The formulator departed that co & started another with the improved, reformulated SteelShield products. I'm running the words together here so...

For me, running Amsoil synthetic ACD 10W-30/SAE 30 diesel oil had a a more noticeable visual cleaning effect than Auto-RX.

I've tried a number of lubes, cleaners, protectants, CLP's, but I keep coming back to Weapon Shield. Haven't tried CorrosionX.

Where's the moly in Amsoil SSO 0w-30, API SM? I don't know. Was there an API SL formula with less moly? Maybe this oil is older than I thought. A previous Blackstone Lab VOA (sample date 7/15/08) of SSO, I saved from here, showed only 2 PPM moly. MY PREVIOUS UOA, with SSO, from Oil Analyzers...

Silicon level of 9 looks good to me. Which brand/model air filter? I keep considering using diesel oil, but I'm afraid I might kill the cat.

Lower wear metals (or trending down due to engine break in), 2.29 TBN with lighter oil---did I read that right? I think swithching my wifes car from 30 weight oil to ASM 0W-20 would better suit her crank-n-race 5-7 mile driving patterns in 94 Civic.

Currently using "Molabrew" (with a bit more LC20). Next change, thinking about using it with Amsoil ASM, 0w-20 in a 4.0L v6, Tacoma.
