This is a very old firearm lube and rust-preventitive--far older than Ballistol. I would love to see an analysis of it, but have been unable to find any chemical info on it. I ordered a can of it just to give it a try.

I came across M1ESP 5w-30 oil on AV Lube's site, and was wondering if this oil can be used in regular diesel engines? Or is it only for passenger-car engines? Thanks for any info. I was considering using it in a tractor of mine.

I have seen some folks here talk about putting 2-cycle oil in their diesel fuel to increase the lubricity of the fuel. Does this work? What is the dosage used? I have some leftover 2-cycle oils that I would like to burn in my tractor. Thanks.

Do air-cooled diesel engines, such as those made by Deutz, have any special oil requirements? I would think that at the higher operating temps in air-cooled engines, a synthetic oil would be ideal. Thanks for any info.
