    Yes, post WW2 manufacturer. There is no reason not to get one. They are genuine surplus and will never go down in value. The frames will have the proof and property marks. If you want an original one, you will be spending thousands.

    Best oil for power valves?

    In my experience, semi-synthetics keep power valves cleaner for longer. I usually use Yamalube 2S and some argue that Citgo/Mystik Sea and Snow is the same product. If you must have a full synthetic, I'd buy Mystik JT-4 only because it's $22 at farm and fleet.
