    Michelin LTX MS/2

There is not a finer tire in the world in this category. I have had multiple sets on multiple vehicles (obviously MS & MS2). Simply awesome. If you take care of them they will do 70k easy.

    SD9 vs.the.M&P

Don't neglect what fits your hand best. An XD feels like it was made for my hand. Also check how the guns point for you without using sights. Just point it at something, then check where you are actually aimed. I point high with Glocks for example. Good luck!

Should you turn off gas between using Mower?

I shut my fuel off and let the engine run out of fuel at just above idle. I got the mower in 1995 or 1996. Not one carb issues yet. No engine issues at all for that matter. I might be on my 2nd spark plug.

04 GMC Yukon XL... Dex III or Dex IV?

Oops I was wrong above. I did go to Dex 6 at 50k but then had it flushed again at 120k with Dex 6. Still shifting great and I am good to go until I sell/trade it.

04 GMC Yukon XL... Dex III or Dex IV?

Dex VI. I have a 2004 5.3L and Dex VI improved shifting quite a bit. I went with it at about 50,000mi I think and still have it at 125,000 now. May do 1 more flush while I own truck.

    Tires for Silverado needed

Get the LTX M/S2's. Trust me, I have had multiple sets on multiple vehicles (including the M/S before the 2's came out). They are awesome. Mine were on for about 6 years - no issue.

Just went to QSUD after dino only for 120,000mi

Update! My OLM just went off this morning at just under 126,000mi so that is 6000 miles on the QSUD per the OLM. I never had the OLM activate before as I always ran dino for 5k or so for 120,000mi. Maybe it was the summer heat here (FL), I did tow a jet ski a short distance and mostly city...

    Costco for tires

Use them all the time. IMO best there is. They will only do factory approved installs though. Great service, great care, they follow man specs to a T.

Engine Oil and Filter Recommendation, 2004 Tahoe

Wix 51522. I have a 2004 5.3 and I use them. Slightly oversized. Use synthetic and go by OLM.

Favorite tires you have ever run

Michelin LTX M/S and now LTX M/S 2's. No contest. They smoke every other tire I have ever had. I had the M/S on my Jeep Cherokee and the M/S 2's are on my truck now.

    10K QSUD

I hope so. I just switched at 120k to QSUD from dino all that time. I am now going to use the GM OLM - no percentage on mine though. Just gonna run it til it says change it. Then do it again and test that sample so I'm a couple years away from a report I think.

changing back&forth from convetional <--> syn oil

changing back&forth from convetional <--> syn oil

Update - I have had QSUD in for about 3000 miles now (at 123,000mi)and still no leaks. But oil consumption is up. I have added a quart so far. I had never added oil with dino between changes for 120,000 miles. It may have started dropping a little as it aged, but nothing like this. Thoughts?

please explain to me all the FRAM hating! - why?

The answer is value. You can buy a better filter for the same price. Other brands have what most of us believe to be higher quality parts, at the same or similar price. I agree Fram will probably never hurt your engine, but why would you buy it if it is of less VALUE. I used to believe in Fram...
