Just wondering if the tank from the newer style of snappers (with the gauge on the cap) would fit on my older style Snapper (same basic shape, but without the gauge on the cap because it curves inward on that side) Also, can the air filter on my mower be cleaned or is it mostly just a scenario...

Seems like the Blade is fine and balanced for the most part. I suppose next I would check the spindle?

On my older Snapper rider (handlebars) mower, when I engage the blade the deck shakes. I tightened the blade and it still does it. Not sure why it started. Any ideas?

Not sure I know what you mean by 'linkage'. I am wondering if I did change something when I replaced the belt. The thing is so dang hard to replace...I had to undo the bolts on the sides and let the underneath drop in order to replace the belt.

That could be I suppose. But it worked fine until recently and it hasn't changed that I can tell since the mower was running like a champ.
