I envy the people that got the high mileage on the ltx ms2 . I ran 2 sets and only got 20-25k from each set. Both sets replaced under warranty due to wearing out prematurely.

Rotella t-5 or t-6. All the zinc and phosphors you need + excellent hths to deal with the heat and you can run either year around.

Check the spark arrester in the muffler also. With that much oil coming out of the unit I would say the screen is carbon up severely witch would also cause the symptoms you are seeing. With the screen carboned up there is excessive back pressure slowly shutting the engine down.
