Thank you for the replies. Do you know of anyone who has used the full synthetic in a tranny that requires Mercon LV? I have a concern that it wont mix with the residual fluid in the transmission? As I understand it I can only drain about 50% from the drain plug??

I am preparing to change the fluid in my 2011 Flex and Understand that it uses Mercon LV fluid... Can anyone confirm or help with aftermarket fluids avaiavlbe and what I should look for/use! Thank you

It was/is clear like hydraulic or brake fluid. The "yellow" was what I would consider the normal color of differential fluid or heavy gear lube.

Thank you, Oil is cheaper than a new rear end. I will top it off and run with it.

I still need to "top Off" the fluid So you dont think Mixing the two should matter?
