I learned of this product on Sigforum awhile back. It's a general purpose cleaner/lube. I've used it for a couple of years on my pistols, and very pleased with it.

You might want to try a heavier gear oil, such as 75W-140.

The Amsoil "Heavy Duty" MEtal Protector works well for me. It leaves a waxy film that stays put for awhile.

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 4.7 liter, high output engine. In my owner's manual it recommends 5W-30 oil for the standard 4.7, but insists that I use 10W-30 in the 4.7 H.O. Why the difference?
