Have the dealer put in writing that they used the Kendall instead of the ATF+4,and ask Kendall to send you something on company letter head that they say it's OK to use it in your trans.

I use Type F in all my 727's and 904's.No problems using that.I'm not keen on the ATF+4 in the 727..you can use the Dexron/Mercon in the older 727 trans with no problems

I'd drop that combo into a older Dodge pickup.

Depends on what year the van is...the early 604's were having sealing ring problems.The 604 hasn't been used in years,now is a different name, trans,and much better.

Great filter,I've used them in the past,but too expensive.I'm using SuperTech until my current stock runs out then probably will switch to Wix.

Both of our Cherokees had Goodyear Eagle P rated tires on them when bought.Current Cherokee has P rated tires(Coopers)and it rides great.

I used Quaker State 30 wt in my 85 Dodge Ramcharger until I sold it.Had over 185K on it and still going strong.The original owner was using 30 wt Valvoline.No problems and the valve covers had never been off of it.I did replace the timing chain set,and the engine looked great.

The ban on 10w40 by GM wasn't due to stuck rings..it was camshafts wearing at a high rate and they(GM) said that it was better to use 10w30 as it would get to the cam/lifters faster. The 10w40 of the 70's was /is good oil,I never had any problem with it,and we used it in the race cars too.

I'm a retired Chrysler master technician,so I'll give you some real and truthful info....The 2.7 that Mitsubishi makes for Chrysler use is a sludge demon if the oil isn't changed every 6K.I think that is the engine you are hearing all the horror stories about.You should have the Chrysler built...

Use the 15w40,that 318 will go another 177K!! The leakage may be the valve covers weeping on the back side,I've seen this happen on the older 318's/360's.

They do not use "off the shelf" oils.... The teams get oils that have additive packages that are unique to their application.The base oil is the same as what we use,just a different additive package,and it's mainly viscosity and anti wear improvers.
