Switching back to 0w20 for Texas winter

Given that engine's fuel dilution issues combined with a "seasonal" winter, I'd stick with 30 weight.

    Chainsaw?

Consider a replacement carb vs rebuild. Pricing may be on par and a heck of a lot easier. Carb for chainsaw that old may be in the $15 - $20 neighborhood...? Not to add to your workload, but also consider replacing the fuel lines... another inexpensive preemptive measure that can save yourself...

    Help with window well drainage

Exactly right... give any potential water an easy way out. At ground level or an inch or so below will do the trick. Cover it with gravel... won't matter. 10' thru a wall is much more then I would have expected... a few feet out is all you'll need just to get the water away should it accumulate

    Help with window well drainage

Hey Kluth... As someone who has battled the forces of nature over the years, I would tend to agree with those who suggested a drain. I can't be specific with the actual names of the components, but Home Depot sells everything you need and it doesn't have to be elaborate. A 4" drain elbow with...

    Any roofers out there?

You're right... nothing can be done now but 18 hours is good, long time. Especially if he had the same breezy and sunny weather we had in NJ yesterday. Tried looking online - I can't even find this product on mfg website...? Wish I had a better answer for you

    Reconditioning a 2-Stroke Snow Blower

Picked up an older MTD 2-stroke single stage snow blower Among other things, I've replaced the fuel line and added a shut-off valve I have a 75 micron fuel filter I intended to install but I'm wondering if that could be too restrictive? It's the clear coalescing type filter It seems that most...

    Engineered Fuel

For the last few years, I’ve purchased the 2-stroke quarts from Home Depot. Maybe 3 or 4 quarts over the course of a year. Since I started this, zero problems and the OPE starts within the first few pulls. For lawnmower or snow blower, I just fill a 2.5 gallon can with 93 octane and treat with...

    Generator Cuts Off

Happy 4th everyone... ! Lost power yesterday and fired up my Powermate PM01206000. Started with a couple pulls but after 15 minutes or so would start to sputter and then stall out. Happened a number of times and each time, would run for a lesser amount of time... down to maybe 5 minutes. After...

2018 Honda Civic 1.5l Turbo: octane? Oil?

Without specifically quoting anyone’s responses: * I agree - so far the mileage I’ve gotten in my first tank of gas has been far better than I hoped... 404 miles and fill up was 9.4xx gallons * I’ve been driving almost exclusively in Econ mode and trying to avoid engaging turbo * as for...
