    Royal Purple SAE 30 Synthetic

Anyone using Royal Purple SAE 30 Synthetic? Unless I am mistaken, it is the only monograde SAE 30 Synthetic on the market (they also offer SAE 40 and 50). I don’t remember seeing this oil available when I checked for synthetic generator oil a few years ago. Seems like it would be ideal for small...

What Happened to Liquid Glass Enterprises?

I have been using Liquid Glass Polish and many of their other products for 35 years. A few months ago, all the on-line outlets for the products ran out of stock (Amazon, AutoBarn, Advance Auto, etc.) I contacted all of them and none knew anything. New Addition to the Stable

Just bought a 2015 1LT Corvette Stingray yesterday. Awesome machine. Calls for 5W-30 full synthetic. Plan to use Mobil 1 as recommended by GM. Will change out factory oil at 1,000 - 2,000 miles. Then every 6 months or 4,000 - 5,000 miles thereafter. Not much other maintenance required.

Synthetic Oil and the Hemi Tick

Just got a new 2015 Challenger with a 5.7L Hemi. I am getting some clatter that lasts a about 10 seconds on start up if it has not been started for over 2 days. If it is started every day, no clatter. The car only has a couple hundred miles on it but I want to get rid of the clatter. I have...
