Get yourself GS, I had one for years gs 350 , now my daughter inherited that car 😁. The way it feels and drives it makes me think, that quite possibly my grandkinds will learn how to drive on this car 😂 I might even one day, get my self older GS430 again

Which oil for breaking in 2024 F250 7.3?

From my experience Ford is really good with warranties or I am just lucky 🤔😉 I had issues with my 18 coyote after bumper to bumper warranty expired, never serviced my Mustang at ford's dealership, and yet when I got the issue with 5.0 they redo the whole timing hardware under powertrain...

    Oil for 2.7 ecoboost

2016 F150 3.5, 245k km Tuned for at least 235k km, running around 18-19psi. No oil usage, no engine issues at all. ( had to replace low and high pressure fuel pumps) Used just about any sythetic oil that was/ is on sale at the moment of oil change. 5w30 or 0w40, changed every 8-10k km. I think...

Amount of engine oil vs engine power

You really weren't surprised that they lost 60hp? And yes the max hp is in upper rpm, I don't think that this video is meant for any Joe Average driving toyota corrola for example.... As an eye opener for car enthusiast, I think that it is 🤷

I'm shocked how much power can be lost. This is in my opinion very interesting video

    5/40 in Ford 7.3 gas?

They haven't always been right. I know Ram changed oil viscosity requirements for 3.0 diesel from Xw30 to Xw40 Ford also changed in mustang coyote from 5w20 to 5w30 from what I know Others, outside of NA market, provide chart of aprroved viscosities based on the outside temps. My Lexus...

Do Esters and PAO's deteriorate/interact with plastic engine internals?

Not sure if the question is as unclear as it seems to be made ( I'm not chemist). What possible "plastic" components of the engine can be in contact with engine oil? Oil pan, valve covers, chain cover and guides etc. I don't know if anyone can ( maybe someone has the knowledge) be sure of...

Former Nissan GT-R lead engineer on oil change frequency

True regarding time factor, I kind of understood that you were implying that iOLM altogether doesn't take driving style into "considerations" when it comes to oil change intervals. I'm seriously impressed that the computer cuts the millage before oil change so much depending if I run the car on...

Former Nissan GT-R lead engineer on oil change frequency

Then something is wrong with mine in the Mustang. It calls for engine oil change at as much as 12k km ( longest i ever got) or as little as 7k km, this is the last oil change interval that I got on E85. Eric

Euro 30 in a Coyote engine

In my case , 2018 mustang gt. Had the timing components replaced under powertrain warranty and still, xW20 ford's approved xW30, I get the noise just like chain slap, it's freaking horrible. Heavy 30, 40 quiet as a mouse. So it sounds that this engines like heavier engine oils

    Long Lasting Motorcycle Tires?

Have Metzellers ME888 marathon ultra on my Victory Hammer, 13k km. I really like them, I think I'm half way trough their lifespan ( rear tire.) I don't think I'm going to run out of tread, more likely it will square off too much. Mostly hwy millage Eric

What's it like to live with a Mustang as a full time daily driver?

I use '18gt as a daily, except days that I need my truck to move stuff for my construction business. With very good winter tires and extra weight in the back you can get around on the snowy roads as well. Don't expect to be able to drive through unplowed deepish snow though. I live in...

Using Brake Cleaner in Engine Compartment

I use green CRC brake cleaner for two things only, clean brake components and as starting fluid in the spring, for my lawn mover and gen set. I wouldn't use for anything else, and definitely not on rubber / plastic parts

    Tires for HD diesel truck (50/50 towing/not, 90/10 pavement/dirt)

True, I got mine 4years ago, and the price for them was really good compared to almost any other AT tires. If it wasn't for salesman in the tire shop I would walked out from there with another set of BFG, the guy couldn't praise Falken hard enough, to the point that after I bought them I...

    Tires for HD diesel truck (50/50 towing/not, 90/10 pavement/dirt)

So, I'm not the only one that has awesome experience with AT3W. I had them on 2016 F150 in 275/60/20 Replaced them last night with GY Duratrac , the only reason I got GY instead of Falken again was price. I lucked out and got brand new set of Duratracs for exactly 50% off their regular price...
