Mann cold weather filter after 40,000 mile

While driving air is pushed towards to that hole so no hot air is getting in there. Maybe when you stop at a trafic light for several minutes it may take a litlle warm air. Compaired to a filter that is mounted in the middle of the engine bay, it is next to nothing.

Mann cold weather filter after 40,000 mile

The carbonio does not really take hot air from under the hood. Maybe 1% of the air it takes is hot air. See the air slot port in the front part. @trav Usually you wont see a power decrease from high flow filters in a charged engine. The lower the intake temperature the higher te power, so a...

@gathermewool We always use crank hp. The superflow always corrects to 1000mbar ambient pressure and 20 degrees celsius so yes the conditions are always thesame. Is was measured 1 day after eachother and the weather was thesame as the day before. The power was reproducable every time again so...

I dont think the loss is linear. I think it it doesnt lose much power in the first build up phase. But seeing the valves like this i think a little more buildup would cause the engine not to deliver any decent power anymore. Mostly you can feel that the engine is running right. Pulling strong...

@reddy45 Yes you vacuum it out during the blasting. Special adapters make you vacuum and clean during the same time. @hemihawk In europe we always talk about crank HP. These figures are crank hp and Nm. We first do a drivetrain loss measurement in the gear that we are going to use to measure te...

    Class D Mini Amps

How much power can the drivers (speakers) handle? The Clarion seems a wise choice, the only disadvantage is that it has the lowest S/N ratio, but i'll doubt you'll hear the difference in a non high end setup in a car. I do have a higher end setup in my car ( ESX Vision Elite 6.2C MKII front...

    Class D Mini Amps

I have experience with the Pioneer GM-D1004. I used it in my buddy's VW EOS with an aftermarket android radio that really sucked sound quality wise. the nice part about the pioneer is that you can choose to connect by RCA, that gives a massive bump in SQ. If you would use the speaker output (...
