You have to smoke test to diagnose this one. Smoke will find vac leaks that spraying carb cleaner will not find. You are taking some chances if you cross reference based only on size and threads - there are other specs that need to be met as well. I would run the factory spec filter and rest easy or if you must have a "better" filter then buy the PPE filter that is a correct fit.

They sell some worthwhile specialty tool at reasonable prices. They have some junk too but then again everybody else does too.

I would be dumping the Fido Visa if they have a problem with weapons.

You MUST retract the caliper via a scan tool or other method or damage will happen if you try to push them in without them being in service mode. There are ways to do it w/o a scan tool -Google brings up the methods. Once in serviced mode and pads changed then you must exit service mode.

Spectra radiators have been just as good as the others but one thing to never run made by Spectra is a fuel pump. Given that if I was given the choice I would choose the Denso or even a TYC brand.

Had our current custom home built in 2014 and went with Pex. This was all new to me being originally from the east coast and used to copper pipes. I Could not be happier with it - a few rare texas freezes didn't effect the pex after thawing out and the water taste isn't objectionable.

You can go get a used one and reflash it or grab a reman from flashmasters or similar outfit aready programmed to your VIN. I do both ways and flashmasters has been very good when I needed a new one or one of mine repaired.

Your local mom and pop tire shop is probably your best bet for a simple check and balance.
