    Castrol GTX 20W50 in the summer and 10W30 in the winter. Back in the mid to late 80's I'd wait for it to go on sale for .99/qt and then buy the 24 qt case.

    I picked up two jugs of PP 5W30 on rollback at Walmart for $23.78 each. That plus the $20 rebate from Pennzoil brought the price down to $13.78/jug. Nice!

    Yep, that well know finance guy (I guess we can't name him) seems to hate credit cards and is quite proud of the fact that he hasn't used one in yrs. I'm with the above posters - why not? Pay the bill in full each month and get rewarded for it - seems like a no brainer.
