Need Help With Cub Cadet LTX 1045 Project

Cleaned carburetor, tightened case bolts which were all not torqued enough from the factory, replaced valve cover and adjusted valve clearance. I have a problem when I try to engage the blades the motor shuts off. Would that be the seat safety switch? I zip tied the switch from the pto lever and...

Getting My Harley Back On The Road

Just did new front tire (Dunlop 401) and fork seals because a seal blew out and one of them leaked. Have the rear tire left to do and she's 100%. Will use a Dunlop 401 also. 2007 H-D Dyna Street Bob with 11,000 miles. I'm not going to be doing much riding because I'm afraid of the possibility of...

    What's your favorite handgun?

My favorite, if I had to pick one, is the 1911 chambered in 9mm. I have a Springfield Armory stainless "loaded" and love the way it shoots. Only modification is I switched the 2 piece guide rod for a GI so I don't need an allen wrench to field strip it. Cheap ammo and easy shooting chambered in...

    Project Toro Super Recycler

I got a free mower to play with, so I made it a project for the past week since work is slow and I'm bored. New gas tank, brake/start cable, carburetor (the one that was there was for a choke; this mower is supposed to be primer). I had to get new screws for the filter housing as the Amazon carb...

Any Midweight Moto Guzzi Fans Here?

I'm starting to look at lighter weight motorcycles as I have arthritis in my hips, knees, etc. and it's getting harder to ride my heavier Dyna in traffic. I've been looking online at the newer air cooled V7 and V9 bikes and like the simplicity of them. One thing that has me a little concerned is...

    John Deere E110

Does anybody know anything about this mower? Been thinking of getting one mainly for bagging and picking up leaves in the fall. Have 1/4 acre but getting old and unable to push my heavy Billygoat leaf sucker upper. Thanks.

Can An FL820s Be Used In Place Of An FL500s?

I have a 2018 Mustang GT 5.0 which calls for the FL500s filter. Supposedly the 820s will fit but is it ok to use as a substitute? The Ford Racing 820s can be used on this car, so it makes me wonder. It would be nice to only stock one filter for my Fords.

    2018 Mustang

Got this yesterday. New 2018 GT Premium 5.0 10 speed auto and love it. I traded my 16 Challenger for it because there were several things I didn't like about it and Ford offered me a better deal than I ever expected along with an additional 1K for veterans discount. I love this car and now there...

Dyna Low Rider S 110" Screamin Eagle.

A buddy of mine just bought a new leftover 2017 Low Rider S. It's a really good handling powerful bike. Really impressed me, but as I'm 6'6" it was like riding a mini bike lol. I'll post pics when I get them. The dealer threw in a 2 into 1 header (I'm assuming w/o cats) as part of the deal...

    Best ad blocker?

I just got a new computer and wanted to know which blocker is the best. I had one on my old computer that blocked utube ads and was really good, but can't remember what it was. Thanks.

ACDelco PF-47 oil filter instead of Merc filter?

Is there any major difference between the two? Is it ok to substitute filters or is there something special about the Merc filter? Cross reference shows the 4.3 Chevrolet engine calls for this (PF47) filter.

Rode The New 2018 Softail Fat Bob 114 c.i. Today

This thing is amazing. I was a huge fan of the Dyna and FXR, but was really impressed with the new Milwaukee 8/Softail replacement and now think it's a good move on Harley's part. It's been totally "modernized" and feels like for all practical purposes will keep up or go faster than anything...

Anyone Have The Lifetime Chrysler Corp. Warranty?

Been thinking about getting the Maxcare lifetime warranty for my 2016 Challenger. The Hemi/6 speed seems to be a reliable combination, but it's all the little stuff I worry about when it gets older. Best price for $100 deduct is $2965. Thanks.

    Old Triumph 750 Bonneville

Anybody know anything about these bikes or where I can go for information? My brother is about to get a nice old T140? 1976 750 Bonneville. It has disc brakes front and rear, left side shifter and under 9,000 miles. It's got good compression but has been setting for a long time and won't start.

    2016 Challenger R/T

Just bought a used Challenger Shaker R/T. Saw it on auto trader and couldn't resist. My favorite color (B5 blue) and the shaker hood with a six speed manual tranny and 7,500 miles. Unbelievably, it got 26 mpg on a road trip to WV on 89 octane with a little stop and go mixed in. It gets virtually...

GM Pickup Trucks With G-80 Locker Read This

I changed my lube in the rear today in my low mileage (25,000 miles) 2012 Silverado truck today and it was really nasty looking. I discovered a TSB on this and it says to change the lube at the first oil change and to use only 80W-90 oil w/o the additive only. I didn't have any idea the rear...

How to replace Snap-On plastic ratchet handle?

I just got a replacement plastic handle for my comfort grip Snap-On ratchet, but it doesn't look straight-forward and easy to replace. My instinct is to stick it in boiling water to soften it up, but I don't want to screw it up. My German Shepherd puppy (well, she was a puppy 3 years ago) chewed...
