I noticed this oil on Imperial Oil's website the other day. Only available in 0W20 and a 5W30. I was wondering if this is similar to or the same as Mobil Super Synthetic. http://www.mobil.ca/Canada-English-LCW/carengineoils_products_mobil-super_3000-0w20.aspx

I've read many posts saying to wax before applyingCollinite 845. I'm washing my 2011 matrix today. The paint is quite dirty. After I wash with Zip Wax and clay, what product/wax should I apply before I apply the 845.

I've only seen an improvement of 1-2 mpg using Shell V Power 91 which is E0 up here. Essa, Petro Canada, Ultramar and Husky premiums are all E10 and I've not seen any change with those. I think in the average engine, ethanol content has more of a fuel economy effect than octane rating

It is interesting that the manual states to use 0W20 but that 5W30 may also be used and will not affect warranty

TGMO is fine if the manufacturer calls for an SN GF5 0W20. I believe ford has their own spec which TGMO does not meet. Just use Motorcraft oil

In Canada, it's a no brainer. Good luck finding any 0W20 for $5.60 a litre. TGMO is the only 0W20 priced that low

From searching Google, it appears to be a European oil. No North American sites about it

No one is evading your question. Each of the above base stocks have their pluses and weaknesses. Tribologists make a finished product out of various blends of different base stocks. That way, they can arrive at a final mix that will meet the specs they want it to meet. No oil will be only one...

OP, I think you will be hard pressed to find a true conventional oil that meets SN GF5. To meet the specs nowadays, I would suspect most conventional oils have a bit to a fair amount of GIII blended in
