9,886 miles on sample. 89,214 on truck. Oil and full flow filter changed. Amsoil bypass is also installed on truck, but bypass filter wasn't changed. Main reason I changed oil was because I needed to install a fumoto.

Does Ralph Still Sell Motor Guard Bypass Filters?

Would really love to find one that he's converted over to handle hot oil.

What's going on there Dave?! Yep, a typical ho-hum nothing wrong DMax UOA. I was really excited to see the results from this UOA since it's been such a long time that I've sampled. By the way, what's the TBN of a virgin sample of Rotella T6? Was curious to gauge that against my current TBN...

Frantz O Ring - Order in Bulk - Where?

Anyone know where I can order the Frantz square round o ring in bulk? I sent McMaster Carr one of my Frantz o rings to match up and they stated there wasn't a match for it. By the way, McMaster Carr is a pain to deal with. They lost my first o ring I sent to them, and it took them three weeks to...

My Frantz Install Pics - Duramax Under the Hood

I wished I never would have sold my old Ralph Wood Motor Guard. I liked the design on it better. I kick myself every day for selling it years ago. Now, I can't find one anywhere.

My Frantz Install Pics - Duramax Under the Hood

I'm getting my pressure from the oil galley, and returning to my oil pan via a hollow bolt. I welded a bracket up and it's mounted to the side of the condenser. There are already two tapped and threaded holes there that I used to mount the bracket to.

    Frantz Bypass - Restrictor Orifice

Why would it matter if the restrictor orifice was installed on the "in" or "out" port? Frantz recommends installing it on the inlet port, but every bypass I've seen has the restrictor orifice on the outlet port. I will be installing my Frantz tomorrow, and would prefer for the restrictor to be...

Frantz Users - New Clamp vs. Old Clamp

Got the bracket made. I utilized the two unused tapped threads as seen in the picture to secure my welded bracket. The Frantz filter bracket bolts to the welded bracket. I'll have everything finished up by Monday, hopefully.
