I know I've heard of GC being almost a 40 weight oil , and I've also heard of 30w M1 oils shearing down to almost a 20 weight.. so I'm just trying to figure out which oil is thicker at operating temperature. With that said, who is the winner?

Which oils produce the best bearing wear numbers on UOAs, I'm intrested because I'm looking into an oil that provides the best bearing protection.. Currently using Amsoil ASL 5w-30, Motor sees 8000-8500 often, and long track days.
