How do you like the Amsoil European 0W30? How does your Pentastar seem to run with it? I am thinking about running it in my Gladiator 3.6.

I am thinking about running it in my 22 Gladiator 3.6. I have ran Amsoil Signature Series 5w30 and 0w30. The Pentastar seems to run quieter on a slightly thicker oil. Thoughts? Anything to be cautious about?

Finally got a reply from Fram.

A say a little pre-mature because the reply from Fram was that the filters needed to be reviewed by someone else. So, not ruled counterfeit or real. Plus you don't know the content of my reviews. One asked if they could be counterfeit and the other was just a regular review with the pictures I...

It was vetted by Amazon and posted. I never said it was instantaneous. I got an email saying it had be removed a short time later.

I tried twice to post a review for the filters on Amazon. Both were posted then promptly removed by someone on their end.

Yes. I sent a detailed message with photos to Fram technical support and I am awaiting their reply.

I agree about the South Korean filters, they seem really well made. Good eye, this is for a 3.6 Pentastar. My '22 Gladiator Willys. The filters were purchased from The Fram Store on Amazon.

I have more pictures. It says made in Brazil. I didn't see the fuzz bunny the other night when i took the pictures.

I do not see any wire mesh backing.

Same thought I had. I didn't use it. I had an Amsoil filter in my stash. Glad I checked it before drove to my buddies house to change the oil. If this is what to expect from them then it may be time to find another brand.

So, on cyber Monday I seen Fram Ultra filters on sale on Amazon from the Fram Store. They arrived and the media looks different, has a different texture and sloppy glue. Anyone else seen this? Seems poorly made

Funny you mention smell. It has an unusual almost fruity smell.

This is a virgin sample of Hot Shots FR3 additive. No real indication of what the magic is on this stuff. Maybe the nano technology is too small( joke) or it's just secret squirrel ingredients that are not part of testing. Anyway enjoy and has anyone used it? Thoughts
