Conventional oil every 5000 miles. This truck never made noises before on cold start. I was thinking because the new oil is thicker then the Conventional oil I changed is where the noise came from. It doesn't matter, over 200000 miles still don't burn oil. And recently retired the only place I...- ehh

My 2006 4.7l dodge has 201000 miles on it runs good. No oil burning. Ran conventional oil till last oil change. Changed oil to valvoline advanced full synthetic. Sounds like a diesel when started cold, after warm up it's fine. Any thinner synthetic oil when cold to stop the cold start sound...- ehh
