Lucas "Red and Tacky #2" grease?

Anyone try this stuff and have any opinion? I did a BITOG search and came up zero. It seems popular in the stores anyway. Looking for something thick and stringy that will stay put in front sway bar links. Link to the manufacturer's page...

    Fan clutch replacement 2002 Trailblazer

Wondering if anyone has experience replacing the fan clutch on the 2002+ 4.2 I6 Chevy Trailblazer?(GMC Envoy, Olds Bravada, Isuzu Ascender are others that are the same.) I have a new design clutch in the box that's supposed to fix a poor a/c performance issue, and I need to get'er done, but have...

Best store-bought grease for new sway bar links

Just bought a set of 4 Moog stabilizer bar links, and they come dry and have grease fittings as opposed to the OEMs that are sealed. Any recommendations on the brand/type of grease to use? Prefer something I can buy in a store. These links take a real beating. THANKS!

Oil for a pressure washer pump

Bought a new pressure washer. Instructions say to change the pump oil after a few hours, then after this "break-in" to change it annually. Of course they state to use their brand of pre-measured oil. (Briggs & Stratton, has an Italian made Faip water pump.) I assume this oil is not anything...

Remington Rem Oil w/ Teflon for general use

This is in the sporting goods dep't in Wal Mart among other places, < $5 for a 10 oz can, sold for guns, but posted it here because it works so well as a substitute for WD40 when you want something that will lubricate afterwards. I've used it for a while but haven't seen much here about this...

    Fuel to the BRIM

Sometimes filling it to the brim or "topping off" too full, the gasoline then gets warm and expands, has nowhere else to go and saturates the vapor recovery carbon cannister causing overrich rough running or other problems. But I always top off a little more until the auto-shutoff clicks off 2...

    disected PF58 and PF61

The PF58 was discontinued and replaced with the PF61. My 2002 Chevy Trailblazer originally spec'd the PF58. Here's a picture I put together of one of each cut apart. Note the PF61 in the pic is different from some I recently saw at O'Reilly's. The ones on the shelf in the store did not say "Made...

    Quaker State vs. Pennzoil ?

Have seen several references to Pennzoil as a high quality conventional oil. But nothing much about Quaker State. Pennzoil-Quaker State are both owned by Shell Oil Co. I have been using QS 10W-30 in my 2002 Trailblazer 4.2 I6 since its first oil change. I "enrolled" it in the QS 10 year-250,000...
