The car belongs to a security service. The Security Officers sit in the car for shifts at a time. I'm sure the officers take little interest in the vehicle since it doesn't belong to them, so the vehicle has just flown under the radar.
2025 Sonata Hybrid
First free dealership oil change. Asked about brand and they showed me drum labeled Quaker State 0W-16.
They also sent me a video of the service. Pretty cool.
This, 100%. Stick with the "required" oil for the warranty period, then switch to whatever you'd like. That 0w-12 is more viscous in a Canadian winter than a 5w-30 is here in Miami.
Subject vehicle: Hyundai Palisade.
Today I had to patch a tire but the rain wouldn't allow me to plug the tire at home, so I went to Firestone. While there i got an oil change for $95 with Pennzoil Platinum 5w30/CQ Premium (AAP is next door and FS didn't have my filter so they bought it there)...
VW has shared it's struggles as of late and i understand some models have to go. But why entry level vehicles? Wouldn't this place the brand further out of reach for so many? Hopefully this just speculation...
I don't see why this desire would only stem from "dysfunction " at a workplace. Being a stay-home-mom is a noble, challenging and rewarding thing to be/do. If she can afford to do so, I'm 100% in her corner.
If this vehicle has a fill-hole accessed from the top of the transmission, i would pump out what i could and fill that same amount. I'd do this during the next 2 or 3 oil changes.
