I use M1 5W/30 in my 2003 Tundra 3.4 and it does great. Why switch? Pep boys has coupons for 1/2 price on M1. I am starting to use GC 0W/30 in my wife's BMW sometime this week but will stick with the M1 in the Toyota.

Would this method be the best application for a 2003 Tundra? Install spin on filter to the output, supply line, to spin on filter, then to radiator cooler. Install B&M super cooler from radiator return, to cooler, then return to trans.

I let my MotorGuard sit overnight and then I do the same as rugerman and have a plastic bag ready and just a few drops fall. I bought a box of disposable rubber gloves and that makes everything easier. It is so much better than changing the oil and spin on filter.

First real snowfall of the year. Two inches and went by a seven car pile up. Four of the seven cars were SUV's that hit the other three. Teenage drivers in the four SUV's. Small type SUV's. No one hurt. I guess they were driving too fast to stop.

Started cleaning phase in a 2000 Excursion with about 52k. Don't know what oil was drained but oil had 3k and was quite black. Used 5W30 Proline from PeP Boys and a Motorcraft fliter. Plan to use Mobil 1 0W20 when the rinse is finished. Hope to increase MPG.
