Just wandering if it is ok to mix 3 qts 5w30 blend with 3 qts 5w30 full synthetic? I need six quarts and have three of each on the shelf.

I just put some mobil1 10w30 hm oil and a new mobil oil filter on my 4.8 chevy truck. That oil has my truck going tick, tick,tick at idle. It has about 75miles on it. Can i dump the oil out of the filter and use it again?

Has anyone run them both? maybe back to back? If so how did they compare? I think I am going to try the Mobil hm just because the specs got me thinking it must be mostly gp IV stuff just to get that super low pour point. I can't seem to find the maxlife synthetic specs on thier website.

Do GP III OR GP IV sytheteic engine oils increase mileage over dino oils or blends? I had my local amzoil dealer telling me that thier oils of the same visc would give me more mpg's. I told him maybe in the winter when its cold, but he told me all year I would save gas. Is he full of it?

hi, does anyone have thoughts on this? the manual calls for 5w30 or 10w30. would i have any problems with it in -10F with is about as cold as i would expect. also has anyone compared the delvac1 to the sythetic rotella? i just figured at half the price it is probably not as good.
