    I have a BMW X5 3.0 si. I have the DI engine. What is the best way to keep the carbon buildup off the top of the valves? I am looking into the Seafoam treatment. Does anyone have any ideas on how to maintain this?

    I have a 2004 Tahoe with about 30,000 miles on a Jasper reman 5.3. I use Valvoline High Mileage Synthetic 5w-30. The rest of the truck has 286,*** miles. No issues to report. 5w-30 is what the manufacturer recommends so I stick with it.

    Hey StevieC, yes my indie said 500 miles. I am just about at that point now. I will be using this as my daily driver. I do around 20+ miles a day round trip. Love this truck!!!
