Your main breaker and 240V breakers should be located in panel with electric meter. Look at your electric meter. Should be a panel below it you can open. When you open panel you should see main breaker and all your 240v breakers.

A sight glass is used on systems that use an expansion valve to meter the refrigerant. Except for weighing the charge in on a evacuated system. Using a sight glass is the best way to charge a system with a expansion valve. You will not find them on vehicles that use an orifice to meter refrigerant.
