Amzoil small engine 5w30 specifies use for LP/NG generators. Im not an Amzoil fan at all, but I use it in my 17kw standby genset. Seems to be a very good oil.

I have a storage shed that will have my zero turn Toro and a DR brush chipper. I plan on running a cord to it so my question is, Do you think it would be safe to have a tender on each battery? Or should I remove the batteries and bring them into the shop for the winter?

Get yourself a tube of outboard motor lower unit lube. It will work fine. Been in my OPE for years and never a problem.
