tomorrow is my day off, and iam going to change oil on the car, owners manual recomends auto trans fluid change at 50k, and iam close to that. car is a suzuki metro, should i drain what i can from the pan it has a plug. take it in for a complete flush,or drop the pan, do it that way ?

i just bought a 2000 metro, 1.3 auto with 43k on it. should i stay with the 5w30 dino oil and the 3000 mile oil changes that the previous owner did, or will i be ok going to mob 1 5w30 and 6000 mile oil changes that i normaly do on my other cars?

until i found this site i figured dino oil was all the same and syn. oil was all the same. so what can you tell me about volvo brand 30w synthetic. wish i had read the bottle b-4 i pitched it. i bought it for my rider mower, was the only otc 30w synthetic i could find.

got 3 quick oil places here, vavoline, quaker state, and penzoil, all cost about the same which is the best synthetic of those 3?
