    have you tried cleaning the throttle body? It gets gunked up with carbon from oil vapors after engine shut off, so the built in idle control (no valve on cable-less throttle bodys) cant compensate past the ring of gunk on the throttle bore. Im just sayin its worth looking into.

    I see cars and trucks with 100k never service either axles and be fine. Having said that, if your Infiniti interval is 60k, then wait till 60k . In the mean time, check the fluid condition when you change the engine oil (and know what you're looking at) and make sure you repair any axle seal...

    "Quieter" Oil Than Mobil 1 For Hyundai Santa Fe

    I think engines are just getting noisier being (mostly) aluminum/plastic in construction, with timing/balance chains on a good amount of them and thinner oils for better fuel economy. Plus the DI pump, injectors, and variable cam solenoids clicking away lol. They sure aren't what they used to be.

    Mobil 1 - I use their HM Synthetic 5w30 in 3 of my 4 cars - zero issues. My GP is at 166k miles and you'd think it had half that. My Sonic needs Dexos1 5w30 so working at a dealer has its perks lol.
