Four reasons why Subaru will stay num. one in AWD

Quote: Haha loneranger, denial is a funny thing. If you're talking strictly about pricepoint, then yes, you're right, but the article isn't talking about that. Acura's SH-AWD has been ahead of the curve with torque vectoring since 2005 and their new Sport Hybrid AWD system is at the top of the...

How often do you guys go WOT?

My WRX gets redline runs (WOT and not WOT) quite often (I never let the engine bounce in redline though). It maybe multiple times a day to maybe once a week depending on the trip and traffic conditions. I try to be as safe and reasonable as possible because hitting triple digit speeds with this...

Opinions wanted! Best oil for 2013 WRX

I've been running 5w30 EC Synthetic oils on my 2011 WRX @7500 mile intervals. Car is still in tiptop shape at 37,000 Miles. I would say just follow manufacturer recommendation and you'll be fine. Where I live it gets ridiculously hot during summer time and freezing cold during winter. PU 5w30SN...

    Subaru with Snow Tires

You guys are right Subaru's on winter tires feels like cheating. It's fun to be able to drive around without any worries of loosing control and traction over 90% of the time. Though there are cases where breaking traction is fun, but I'm unable to do so due to a decent set of winter tires. I...
