Posted this filter when it was new some 8500 miles ago. You can see it here: New Parts Plus Filter Oil used was Maxlife 5w30. Overall it looks really good for a no name filter.

I got this filter for my Cobalt from Rock Auto for less than 2 dollars. I plan on using it for the next oil change. I usually run the Cobalt to 25% remaining on the oil life monitor before I plan for a change and will do the same for this filter. I'll post the follow up picture in a few months.

This filter was in service for about 3000 miles on my Dakota using Supertech 5w30 conventional oil. I replaced it with a Fram PH16 and more Supertech 5w30. I think it looks great and will have no issue using a Supertech filter in the future.

Just pulled this filter from my 2005 Cobalt. Filter had roughly 5500 miles on it using Formula Shell Synthetic 5w30. Media was slightly wavy but could not locate any tears. Overall I think the filter did fine over this interval.
