using fp & lc. lc about 1 oz every 1000 miles, fp about 1 oz per 8 gallons. air filter was changed at last oil change. currently most miles are interstate.

i'll probably thicken this up a bit with some 20w-50 or something. lc and fp. bmw says no synth in this motor, but lots of guys use it with no problem. bmw's recommended oci is 6000 miles. i'm not real gentle either.
