I would run your favorite 5w or 10w30.

    Quaker State???? Any good?

Although I have plenty of 5w30 in my stash (and a SOPUS fan) I was tempted to order several, but restraint prevailed. However, I couldn't just let a deal like this slip thru my fingers, so I did order one and it did arrive. Thanks for the Heads-Up.

My visit to Chik Fil A

Every couple of weeks, Chik-fil-a sends a food truck to my small city/town. It has a limited menu, but the same friendly employees. If I happen to be driving by (and hungry), I'll pull over. There is almost always a line, but service is quick. It's always hot and fresh, but like some others...

Mitsubishi stores get scarcer as brand cuts low performers and ‘fed up’ dealers walk away

My 2023 OS is FWD. There is a button for AWD or 4 wheel lock. I recently took it into the mountains of TN and NC. I was pleased how well it handled itself in the hills, even with the factory Nexen tires.

Have you ever reconnected with an old friend after 35 years

I have re-connected with school/work mates from 30-40 years ago on FB. Most were positive exchanges, but there are a few, while not being rude, simply have ZERO interest in talking about 'the old days'. And these were guys that I knew well then. That said, I'm ok with it.

Have you ever reconnected with an old friend after 35 years

I don't claim to be a FB expert, but if she popped up on your feed you probably either have 'mutual' FB friends or she might have done a search for you. Probably no harm in saying Hello.

Should oil brand matter so long as specs are met?

These days... I will say No. 40-50 years ago........ maaaybe.

Proper use of "They're, there, and their"

When I was in 9th grade, I took a Power Mechanics class. We worked on lawn mowers and other small mechanical devices. The shop teacher was a very nice man from LA - Lower Alabama. Whenever we would finish wrenching on something, he would say - "Let's see will it work". That class was the spark...

Proper use of "They're, there, and their"

This is just my opinion.... I've noticed in the old Westerns (shows and movies) when a charactor will say 'seen' in place of 'saw', the writers were trying to convey that this person had an informal eduction. Problem was, not every one caught on to that and assumed 'seen' was correct because...

    Burger King Whopper

Yesterday on my way home, I stopped and did the Whopper Wednesday deal with a medium onion ring. Wasn't home long and the wife was complaining and opening windows and turning on fans. :p

Same. The only time I eat and drive is if I need to be somewhere and running late.

When being green makes no sense

That's what I would have done. The OP was being honest, but it just made things complicated. When I once worked for a tire and lube, we sent any kind of tire to the recycler. Bicycle, go-kart, golf cart... even 'gatorbacks' people picked up off the road. They (the recyclers) never refused to...
