Nissan VQ35DD 3.5L 29k kms; Mobil 1 EP 5.7k kms; - silver in used oil analysis

It has excellent marketing. UOAs won't tell you oil quality. It tells you what the engine is doing to the oil, not the other way around.

I'm searching for an explanation for that but can't find one.

BMW M62TU2 388,000 miles...safe candidate for Valvoline Restore and Protect?

Do AMSOIL and Red Line have a lower amount of esters? I feel like they run clean but don't really see a lot of cleaning results with them

Yes everyone seems to love Valvoline Maxlife ATF too. I don’t have an automatic transmission to try it in though otherwise I would!

Restore and Protect; How does it clean?

Again that video is talking about the wrong patent. 1 hour video on the patent for VPBR.

BMW M62TU2 388,000 miles...safe candidate for Valvoline Restore and Protect?

This is an impressive amount of carbon after running very high quality synthetics at half the recommended OCI. Ones that @edyvw would approve of. Do you have any varnish or carbon visible through the fill hole? If not, that would suggest that M1 ESP is cleaning up the rings perhaps...

I’ve been doing this on a steep mountain pass. I drop a gear and nearly redline it for the full climb. I’ve also been doing some engine braking too. Going to get all of the cleaning out of these 4 runs with VRP that I can.

Restore and Protect; How does it clean?

It hasn’t been patented to our knowledge.

Good luck. It’s sold on the Saudi stock exchange. Maybe you can find a broker who can get some for you.

HPL PCMO 5w30 - Subaru Outback 3.6r using oil

It would be interesting if you stuck with it and updated us. Like others discussed, multiple people have had burning with VRP initially and then it went away. Please update the thread with how it changes.

impulse Mobil 1 ESP 0w30 buy - use in what vehicle?

You’re too cheap for VRP but bought HPL? 🤔 M1 ESP for the Subaru. HPL or new AMSOIL SS for the Ecoboost to get you through the long drain interval you want.

Valvoline Restore and Protect - Shortage at Walmart?

Try another browser. I think I had trouble in the past with it.

Nissan VQ35DD 3.5L 29k kms; Mobil 1 EP 5.7k kms; - silver in used oil analysis

Why do you think that is? Do you think that it will prevent more wear than a 30 grade oil? Or is perhaps for CAFE credits for Nissan?
