Another case of the home-schooled BITOG engineers to the rescue.

    Who's doing a 6 month OCI ?

I am, using Mobil 1 in my '09 V6 4Runner and Toyota oil filters. Some varish build-up in the oil fill tube. I may change it sooner after five years of this interval to sort of give a periodic "flush".

    Toyota 75w-85 Synthetic Gear Oil

If the trucks were out of warranty, it wouldn't be much of an issue. But I've had enough trouble with new-car dealers around here. The owner's manual calls for 75W85, GL-5 oil. One thing a service manager can't argue with is the owner's manual. Well, he or she can but will look pretty stupid in...

    Toyota 75w-85 Synthetic Gear Oil

Yeah, I know. I'm looking at a pail (Redline PN 50106) which would fill both Toyotas and my Ma's Grand Vitara. With the right pail pump, it should be easier than messing around with a pile of little bottles.

    Toyota 75w-85 Synthetic Gear Oil

An older thread but just my two bits. I checked with a Toyota dealer around here -- $27/litre. Both my 4Runner and Tundra use this oil and it's getting around to the time that both diffs in both trucks need a service. The can (yes, can) said "Made in Japan." The Tundra takes seven to eight...

    Pressure Washer Pump Oil

....but it seems plain old axle gear oil does a good job just as well. No problem with heat and plenty thick to cushion all the intense vibration and shock-loading.

    Pressure Washer Pump Oil

I searched already and started this thread because I've searched for 20 minutes and didn't find any deliberate threads regarding this. Industrial pressure washer pumps, mainly triplex three plunger types -- what's the default oil to use? I'm going with S.A.E. 30-weight non-detergent but it's...

    Canadian Tire's Motomaster Filter Flip-flop

The red is pretty. I've been using Wix filters for the Grand Vitara and the Toyota Pickup but I decided for the next oil change to go with O.E. for these two trucks. The O.E. Toyota filter is made in Thailand. The O.E. Suzuki filter is made in China. The work pants I wear when I change the oil...

    NEO 75W90 HD Gear oil

If it's so great, why is it so difficult to get?

Anyone know if Motomaster Synthetic 75W90 is any good?

That gold bottle stuff has been in my '94 Toyota Pickup (front and rear diffs) and my ma's '05 Grand Vitara (front and rear diffs and transfer case) with zero issues.
