195 on the car now, only 185 on the sticker. LE and SE trims come with 195/65R15, same car, cosmetic differences. That's market segmentation for you.

What are the chances Walmart won't install these tires (185/65R15 on the sticker of this CE model)? I've never had tires installed at wally, do they need a car on the work order for lifetime balancing?

I'm not complaining about the $57 price tag, just don't know if that tire is any good. Used tires for $40 are so not worth it with installation at $25 per tire.

The Corolla tires (8y old Cooper CS5 with 80k miles) have been on the wear bars for some time. I could run them until the fuzzies show up and get some real traction while I wait for tire prices to come down ... or I could just change them. I can get the KU27 for $69 and the Nexen for $57 at...

The regular interval is 7500 miles.

Get a coolant specific filter mount then and use coolant filters. Not a good idea to use oil filters to filter coolant when I researched this some 5 years ago.

Make sure it uses 3/4-16 nipple and the bracket is an orientation that fits your location. I don't recommend EMPI, the nipple thread are not in the same plane as the gasked mating surface...

I've used a remote filter mount on the reservoir "refill", see photo.

I don't run new filters :) Except the Expedition and Jetta... I have an extensive stash of of 3/4-16 filters.
