Wow thread necromancy! I posted this thread in Jan 2023. Since then I added 3 jeeps a Chevy and a Ford to my list. A 2002, 2004, 2007 and 2020 and 2024. Sold 2 jeeps and the Chevy and an Xterra so I'm down to 2 vehicles.
If your trailers live outside in Texas and the SW heat they should be 5 years and gone. I give them away to guys who haul locally and make sure they know the age. Many don't care just happy to have not bald tires.
A friend bought a new 2018 JLU Rubi and had that lift put on and 35s then went to 37s a couple of years ago and has over 85k on it with no DW (yet). It doesn't see dirt much.
The BITOG hive in general.
See what you mean about flawed, what should he do?
Is the Clarios better than the Korean battery? How does one tell if a battery is Clarios or East Penn?
At one point he says "this fully charged battery still has a small surface charge from yesterday" when starting the 0 degree test so one can make an assumption.
I know we hate PF but there's a take-away here that's worth being annoyed. First, he tests the range of batteries from cheapest to most expensive of the same Group 65 battery from both places and he uses a digital tester and a carbon pile tester. The take-away is that the Walmart batteries...

Maybe an electric fence around your garbage can? Googling it seems to show good results. You can switch it off in the daytime. You can probably get the supplies for $100. As long as the bear knows there's food it's going to come back.
Some range days are like that. I've been shooting skeet. Should be easy, the clay goes the same way every time and you stand at the same spots. There's a lot of you suck around those discs.
Are you trying to keep 2 Xterras running now? If you think it may happen again get the cheap stuff.
Maybe find out what daughter has against Xterras too...
More info, I saw neighbor out while walking the dogs this morning and the dirty rat just chewed that last bit where the wires go into connectors and aren't protected by the factory wrap. He's going to re-pin the connectors where there's enough slack and get new wiring where there isn't and run...
Asking for a neighbor. A month or so ago he got a new Colorado ZR2 and within 3 weeks a rodent chewed wires under the hood and disabled the truck. Not under warranty of course, he has the parts on order to fix it. He's got peppermint spray and pads under the hood now but is looking for...
