    Choice of Vehicle?

I am really torn... but, since the wife will have the utility vehicle, i'm looking at getting a "fun" car. Here's what I have narrowed it down to. S2000 and 350Z Now, I am going to be modifying the S2000/350Z with a blower of some kind (most likely super due to less heat induction), but I'm...

    Suggestions on a Polish?

I have an older car (96) with the paint starting to lose some of its oils so that it feels kinda "dry" instead of slick and smooth. A good polishing would do wonders for it. Anyone have any suggestions on a good "oil restoring" polish?

    Amsoil Powerfoam

Well, I for one, am sold on this stuff. Just ran it through the brake booster line and I had so much fun blowing smoke for 3 miles out my tailpipe . SO much fun, I did it twice, to make sure I got most of it, then changed my oil. Worked great, engine is idling smoother, and it doesnt bog down...

    M1R 0w-30 or Amsoil S2000 0w-30?

Im having a real tough time figuring out which I want to try first. I'm gonna dabble in light weight oils for a while after my ARX treatment, since i wont have to worry about leaks as much. Anyone have any preferences? I'm also not completely closed to trying 0w-20 from M1 also. Just some...

0w-5 and 0w-10 in the new hybrids

I cant believe it, but I saw it. In the new 3 cylinder .8 liter hybrids, they're using 0w-5 and 0w-10 oil in it with excellent results. Didn't get a brand on it though..

    Seafoam in the Intake

Ive seen alot of stuff on here about introducing seafoam into the intake, but, with it being a liquid, i'm trying to figure out how. I have a valve cover vent line that goes to the intake before the throttle body. Would that work? I can't locate a brake line that goes to the intake anywhere...

    Engine Acting weird

I just started my ARX cleaning phase 1st time around and I started up my car today, and it felt like it was mis-firing. Chunking really badly, then, after about 15 seconds of idling, it went away. It acted almost like it wasnt getting any oil. Could this be from my filter clogging up and...

    Synthetic Oil weight questions

I'm considering running either a 5w-x or 0w-x in my older Accord after I get done with my ARX treatments. 126,000 miles, and I'm wanting to get a bit better free-revving engine as well as a bit better fuel economy. Ive seen all the stuff on M1 0w-20, 0w-30, 5w-20 but, I havent seen anything on...

    Starting my ARX treatment Monday

But, I don't know what kind of oil/filter I should use. I'm currently using a 51334 Wix filter and have considered getting a 51344 for the larger capacity to catch all the crap that i KNOW is going to come out of the engine. By the way, its a 96 accord EX with 126,000ish miles on it. I've only...

Couple Wive's Tales I need dispelled

Alright, here's my problem, I have a 96 accord with 126,000 miles on it that I have owned since 61,000 and ive used M1 10-30 in the summer and 15-50 in the winter. Changed it regularly at intervals of 3,000 to 5,000 miles, but never more. Ive considered flushing it, but ive heard that this will...
