Don't constantly top off an engine that burns oil?

    Delo 15W-40 stops oil useage in 1987 B&S 3.5Hp

    Delo 15W-40 stops oil useage in 1987 B&S 3.5Hp

The QS was in a couple years total but only used a few times in '14 and set out '15 totally, not started at all... Was almost full but still it's same old smoky self when I started using it late March this year... The way it was swilling oil no chance I was going to change again, so started...

    Delo 15W-40 stops oil useage in 1987 B&S 3.5Hp

Stop may be a bit extreme but it's gone from needing oil at every second useage till still full after four cuttings... No it wasn't a miraculous cure... After a fresh change with QS GB straight 30W and using the remainder for add, I started adding the Delo... First couple cuttings with Delo it...

    Dumbing down used cars?

The smart ones have readers/programmers that can turn off certain functions in the PCM... A CEL because if insufficient EGR flow??? No problem, turn that function off... My beater F-150 came from a private party and has no CEL, guessing it's been removed... It had no sign of being apart...

    High Mileage Oil Choice?

M1 HM cut oil consumption in my Grand Marquis from 2500mi qt to less than a quart in 5K mi... After changing to M1 there was probably a half qt loss in first 1500 mi and since has used far less... It was never quite full after change(approx 4/5 full) and I've added approx 1/2 qt, still not down...

20 Grades - Oil Consumption - NOACK - Stuck Rings

And I don't really buy the low tension ring theory, Ford has used them since the first roller cam 5.0 Mustangs in 1985... Never seen NOACK was a issue in any naturally aspirated V8, but that was exact reason SD oils were developed, and no doubt later oils as well... I suppose it could be a...

    "Tank on empty" website
