    i will give the rotella a try...if it is my carb you are refering to,i just put a new one on about 2 months ago and gained about 4mpg.the other carb was the original and had been rebuilt once,it was pretty worn out when i replaced it....it is a carter,a lot better than the holley 1920 i think...

    yea the slants are tough,you are right,i am thinking about the additives with the older engines and understand each one is different..yea i probably could spend less money,but just feel that i am helping it to have a longer life

    i dont want something cheap,i want something that will give me good service..i guess a lot of people might think its a waste to change so often..its my car and that is how it is going to be done..thanks for your comment anyway
