Everything looks the same to me when comparing the PDS sheets aside from the pour points. Typo?

Just confirmed that this oil does in fact exist. Although at the Walmart I checked, majority of the bottles were all the older SN formula. They only had one quart of the SP formula.

So did the formulation change when they recently added the API SP certification or was the old formula directly compatible?

I noticed from a few sources that Mobil 1 may have changed their 15W50 formulation to now be API SP. Anyone have more info on this? Here's the sources where I noticed the change...

I noticed every single Walmart store in my surrounding area is out of stock in 5 qt jugs of FS 0W-40. Is it just me or are you guys experiencing the same? I never used to have a problem finding it.

Well in Tire Rack's most recent test, the EWC outperformed the Xi3 ever so slightly. Canadian Tire and the Russian testing company came to the same conclusion.

How does the treadlife of the Continental EWC compare to say, Xi3 and R2s?

So since it seems like the R2s are usually too expensive, what's the consensus on the #2 option? Michelin Xi3, Continental Extreme Winter Contact, or General Altimax Arctic?

I wonder how the newer Xi3s compare to the Artics... I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. The studdable feature of the Artics are no benefit to me as studs aren't legal in the Chicago area.
