    Craftsman with Kohler engine leak

Well now is the time to pull the engine lol I have a push mower that works great that I can use while I figure out this leak. Plus I dont need to mow as frequent between Nov-Feb. I got some red high temp RTV as well as Gray and Black. Maybe the red would work best for a small engine?

    Craftsman with Kohler engine leak

Well I changed the valve cover gaskets and although it stopped part of the leak while not running, there is still a significant leak after I ran the mower. I took more pictures, but I didn't see anything noticeably wet under the engine, most of the oil was built up around the lower valve cover...

    Craftsman with Kohler engine leak

I'd like to just change those out anyway. Mind sharing where you got the parts and if you used a tutorial of some sort?

    Craftsman with Kohler engine leak

Yes, I did clean the area first. The frustration is I don't see a drip, but obviously a small puddle forms near the left front tire.

    Craftsman with Kohler engine leak

I'm not versed in small engines at all, and I bought a running riding lawnmower that has worked fine but has developed an oil leak. Seems like it's fairly common and could be an easy fix. I am mechanically inclined, just not sure where to start. I took a picture of the leak and have been surfing...

2016 Nissan Titan XD 5.0 CTD differential fluid

Hello all, I''m curious if the SuperTech 75w90 with GF5 rating is suitable for the rear end of my Titan that specs "Rear differential gear oil - 5 ½ pt/2.6 L - Genuine NISSAN Differential Oil Hypoid Super - CT Synthetic GL-5 75W-90" Looks like the ST stuff would work but I've no idea if...

    Derogatory mark on credit

Hey everyone, I have a relatively recent negative mark on my credit report, but am not sure how to resolve it. Anyone have experience dealing with Charter Communications and/or "Wayresgrp"? I believe this stems from a prior account I had with one of Charter Communications company's, Spectrum...

    Snap-On Warranty Denied

When I was at Pepboys, I refused to go onto the Snap-On truck until I decided I need a big-bad 1/2 ratchet to my tool cart. It was one of the main tools I consistently borrowed. So I gave in and got a 15 inch 1/2 ratchet from Snap-On. It's probably my favorite hand tool now. Just feels right...

    Hardware store of choice?

In my pursuit of a career, I was recently hired on as a Manager Trainee for 84 Lumber. Not a spectacular job to start, but as far as I can tell, is a great starting point for someone in my shoes. 1-2 year training, then relocating to manage or co-manage a shop of my own. The last few months I've...

Doing some more research and looks like an early 2000s Chevy 2500hd with a 6.0 crew cab would be suitable. 4.10 gears, 300+hp, easy to maintain, relatively cheap.
