Thanks for the comments. I'm sure the 9.1 qts it holds is a benefit too.
I'm going to run this oil at least to 7500 miles (hard for me- I'm OCD with this stuff). Will re-sample at that time for comparison.
My wife has the same van and I'm getting ready to put PP 5W30 in it this weekend. I plan to run it around 7500 miles and will get it sampled sometime next spring.
Sample is Mobil 1 0w20 AFE. Changed to Castrol Syntec W/Titanium 0w20 for this run. Will re-sample in the spring to compare.

I think it's quieter. Could be a placebo effect I guess. I have actually noticed a slight mpg increase too with the Castrol 0W20. It's only been a couple hundred miles so far, so I guess only time will tell if that stays the same.
I have Castrol Edge W/Titanium SN 0W20 in the car now. Ran Mobil 1 0W20 AFE last change and sample was sent to Blackstone last week. Will post Mobil 1 results when I get them back.
How would GC work in this engine? I also just purchased an 02 Tacoma with the 3.4 and have a significant stockpile left. The engine has approx. 95k miles and getting ready to enter the rinse phase of Auto-RX.
Latest report from Blackstone on my 2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 with just over 34k miles on the engine.

I will do another UOA at the next change to check for a coolant leak. The last one I had done they mentioned the sodium was high nad to keep an eye on it. The truck only has 23,000 miles on it. Thanks for the replies...
The coolant reservoir was actually about empty and I just topped it off. Could this be related? Check out my last uoa back in Sept.

I have an 04 Durango with the 5.7 Hemi and noticed yellow brud in the oil cap that apears to be baked on. It is only on half of the cap. I just changed back to Mobil 1 5w30 from GC. What could this be?
I used Castrol HM 10w40 in my 69 Chevelle last fall and ran it for about a month before storing it for the winter. I ran mobil 1 10w30 for a couple of months over the summer and it started leaking around the rear main seal pretty bad. It seams to be much better with the HM oil.
I just bought an 05 Acura TSX with just over 5,000 miles on it. The recommended oil weight is 5w30 for this car. Should I use Mobil 1 5w30 or GC 0w30? Do you think GC would be a good match for this engine?
Here is the latest uoa for our 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8L. The van currently has just over 30,000 miles. everything appears good so far.

How does a mix of 3 quarts GC 0w30 and 2 quarts regular syntec 5w20 sound for a 3.8 grand caravan sound? The new caravans are calling for 5w20 and thought GC would be a little thick.
I actually had a typo.
Sodium was 31 which they mentioned could be additive. I hope it's not Anti-Freeze
