Definitely, make sure you are using the correct filter.

I have a 2017 cherokee with 3.2 v6 pentastar and it uses a Mopar 6819 1349 AB-001, or a Fram CH11665. Looked on Fram site and it says your vehicle is the same filter. Is there something about your model that would be different because the filters are not th same looking........Gordon

I have had this model for 6 years, it is a 2 cycle. Just us it for home use, starts and runs just fine. Haven't done anything to it. Good blower.

This engine is a DI engine and was run all winter with short trips, plus the dipstick smelled strong with gas. I was concerned and this report put me at ease.

Did you have a strong smell of gas on the dipstick, mine had a strong smell and i mentioned it to Blackstone and they double checked it. Report came back ok.

I noticed you used Sealed Power rings,i used then in the 1960,s and 70,s and found at that time they were the best piston rings. Never had a problem at all with them. By the way nice build...Gordon

Stewie: I have a 2014 CX5 that i drove from Dec to April and oil smelled strong of gasoline, so i sent a sample to Blackstone and received a report back showing not much fuel in oil. If i can i will show the report.

I drove this Mazda four full months thru the winter 2500 miles all short runs and averaged 29.5 MPG. Oil level never went up or down. I'm set up for oil change every four months regardless of miles. Gordon
